We look forward to welcoming you to Edinburgh for the 12th European Combustion Meeting. This conference will commence with a Welcome Reception the evening of 7th April, and the conference days will take place 8th - 10th April.

Important: Our conference registration will close at 00:01 UK time on 25th March (1 minute into 25th March). Please contact ECM25registration@ed.ac.uk to register after this date. We will NOT be able to accommodate any "walk-in" registrations (i.e., in-person registrations during the conference). Please register for the ECM before the conference!

The British Section of the Combustion Institute is organizing the 12th European Combustion Meeting (ECM), which will take place in Edinburgh, UK from 7^th-10^th April 2025.

The ECM is a forum of knowledge transfer in the field of combustion science and related scientific disciplines. The three-day conference will include five plenary lectures and five poster sessions that will cover advanced topics related to combustion science as we aim to transition to a carbon-neutral society while able to meet the societial energy demands.

The ECM 2025 provides a great opportunity for colleagues from academia and industry to gather and have insightful discussions within the various areas of combustion science. The ECM 2025 will gather together 600+ participants from over 40 countries. This year, an ECM - PROCI Track is available for the special issue of the Proceedings of the Combustion Intitute.
